Welcome To Saint Mary's Orthodox Christian Church of Yonkers, New York !
Glory Be To Jesus Christ! Glory Be Forever!
We are a parish of the Orthodox Christian Faith which was established on the day of Holy Pentecost in the Year 33 AD. Our parish community is a member of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America.
Our close knit and welcoming parish family is trans-national, attracting members from all branches of Orthodoxy and those seeking to explore and potentially embrace the Holy Orthodox Faith.

Special Appeal in Support of our Beloved Pastor, Fr. David Kossey
Our pastor, Father David Kossey, is undergoing a personal trial as he now pursues his second round of chemotherapy treatments and a bone marrow transplant as he battles Leukemia. We ask you to join our parish and the entire Diocese in prayer for Father David, Pani Paula and their family, that Almighty God grants Father David healing and continued strength in both body and soul.
Our St Mary's Parish stand firmly beside Fr. David and his family and we are doing everything possible to continue to compensate and provide for Father's needs. In doing so, St. Mary's Church is struggling financially as she continues to compensate Fr. David and support his important needs, provide for a Sunday substitute, and afford all other relevant expenses. It is our intention to continue to do so for as long as it takes for Father David to recover, but given our dire financial situation, without YOUR help, we may not be able to do so.
With the intention of fundraising what is needed for one full year's support of Fr. David and his family, our church is setting a goal of raising $50,000. This fundraising goal will not be met with regular contributions; it will take prayer, consideration, and generous giving.
Keeping in mind the severity of Fr. David's health situation and the financial need of our parish we ask again that you most especially keep Fr. David and his family in your prayers and consider making a contribution. May God Bless You For Your Generosity!
